For Korean Film Weekend 2025, the Korean Cultural Center in Belgium and the European Union entrusted Atelier Design with creating a visual world celebrating accessible, universal and contemporary cinema. From the graphic concept to printed materials, from freestanding displays to gifts, we extended a single identity across every audience touchpoint to bring the festival to life.

“Korean films, anytime, anyplace”: the 2025 edition celebrated cinema that travels, connects with diverse audiences and can be discovered on every screen. Our approach was to translate this universality into a simple, strong identity rooted in the language of cinema. A visual world that moves beyond familiar cultural references and inspires people to come together in the cinema.
The visual identity translates this creative direction into a distinctive graphic world for the 2025 edition. Composition, colour and typography create a shared language, recognisable across every format. This identity gives the festival a distinctive presence while keeping the films and their discovery centre stage.
The printed materials extend the identity and make the programme easy to explore. The layouts bring together practical information, editorial content and imagery to guide readers and spark curiosity. Each piece becomes a gateway to the festival, to browse, take away or keep.
Through stands, freestanding displays and three-dimensional elements, the identity moves from the page into the venue. Bringing the graphics into physical space means considering proportions, materials and visibility. These elements give the festival a tangible presence and help create a welcoming setting that reflects its visual world.
The gifts offer another expression of the edition’s visual world. Designed as thoughtful gestures for the audience, they bring the identity to life through objects people can take home. A way to keep the memory of Korean Film Weekend alive beyond the screening.
