Exemplary cooperation leads to an extraordinary multisite

Febecoop, a non-profit organization whose mission is to defend and promote entrepreneurship and cooperative projects, had the objective to give a second youth to its website, which had become completely obsolete.

The big challenge we took up was to get the two regional entities (Febecoop Wallonia-Brussels and Febecoop Flanders-Brussels) and the federal entity to agree on a common structure. Multiple exchanges with the actors of the two regions, attentive listening of the AD team, as well as nice compromises on behalf of the three entities, allowed us to concoct a multisite (managing several sites from the same interface and the same installation) that exactly meets the needs of the organization.

What we achieved:

1. Bilingual strategy workshops

Febecoop is divided into three entities in order to be present on the whole Belgian territory. The workshops were therefore held in two languages so that the different actors could agree on the direction to take for their future multi-site. It was also an opportunity to discover their business model, to understand the differences between the entities and to understand the strengths and weaknesses of each. A challenge that was met with flying colors, despite the differences in vision that existed between the entities. It appeared that the reflection should start from the target audiences in order to integrate them more into the general dynamics and to better prioritize the information.

What we achieved:

2. A multi-site structure and a common visual identity

The objective was to validate a common structure and visual identity for the three sites, thus reinforcing Febecoop’s mission and enhancing its activity at the national level, gaining recognition and attracting new members. It was a long process, but necessary to offer their visitors an intuitive and pleasant navigation.

3. Dynamic illustrations

To “dress up” a site and make it come alive in an authentic way, we often “make it up” with photos or videos that come from the client or that are specially made for him. In this particular case, Febecoop had no visuals and it was difficult to produce them during the Covid period. So we came up with a simple idea: create a series of colorful illustrations on the theme of cooperation. A solution that would make up for the lack of visuals in a discreet way and that has the advantage of not having to update them regularly.

The result

The trap was to fall into the all-public, overly broad communication, which prevented the right message from getting across and defining the real needs of the organization. Thanks to our strategic and creative team and the good collaboration of Febecoop on the project, the organization now benefits from an animated, hyper-organized and user-centered multisite. Users can navigate easily and find all the information and tools they need with a single click. Febecoop’s image now reflects the modernity, innovation and expertise of the organization at all levels!
